All conference events will be held at Bryn Mawr College, which is located in the suburban town of Bryn Mawr, just west of Philadelphia. Philadelphia is served by the Philadelphia International Airport and by Amtrak’s 30th Street Station. Taxis, rental cars, and Regional Rail (commuter train) service are available at both locations.
If you are not driving to Philadelphia, you might consider staying in “Center City” (the Philly word for downtown) and commuting to Bryn Mawr College via SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail line. See Where to Stay for more information.
By Regional Rail
SEPTA Regional Rail Service is available from airport to Center City, and from all Center City stations (Jefferson at 10-11th & Market, Suburban at 15-17th & Market, and 30th Street/Amtrak station) to Bryn Mawr. The Airport Line has four stops within the airport (at terminals A, B, C/D, and E). Trains run every half hour and travel time to Center City is about 20-30 minutes. Fares must be paid on board in cash.
From any Center City station, you can catch the Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail train to Bryn Mawr Station. Travel time is about 20-25 minutes, and trains run every half hour during the day and every hour in the evening. You can pay fares or purchase tickets at the ticket offices inside the station.
Bryn Mawr Station is a 10-15 minute walk from campus. When you exit the train, walk straight ahead through the parking lot and along Morris Ave. Cross Montgomery Avenue and continue along Morris until you reach Yarrow St. The entrance to the college will be in front of you and to the left.
Taxis frequently wait at Bryn Mawr Station and will travel within the suburbs or to the city.
Visitor parking is available in the Benham Gateway lot. For directions to this lot use the GPS mapping address: 140 Morris Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010-2899. The entrance to the lot is on Morris Avenue.
